cyclist aids in preventing attempted child abduction

kudos to the 15 year old girl for doing everything right, fighting back strongly and immediately, making lots of noise and breaking free the moment there was an opening.

big kudos to the bike commuter who says:“Between the bright lights on my bicycle and me yelling at him distracted him long enough for the victim to break free and run towards me...for safety.”

tremendous kudos to cyclist and driver, two strangers seamlessly working together to save a child and possibly other kids with the observation of the perp they provide and their witness.

Glad everyone is ok, this could have been much worse.

Cyclists, aren'tcha glad we are out there helping people? . Usually it's small stuff; the wave, asking if someone stopped by the side of the road is ok or needs help, finding the lost dog, helping a newbie fix a flat .... but on this day we save a life.

How true! What a great story. It could have ended so differently. It restores my faith in humankind.
