What I Talk About When I Talk About Running. A memoir. (Murakami, 2008)

I have just finished reading this book (after just starting - it's a relatively quick read) and I would be happy to share it with a fellow runner from TE. It's an interesting piece about running by one of Japan's most important authors, and it takes you right where it hurts the most at times.

I am happy to send this book by snail mail (it's the paper edition, not the kindle as suggested by the image) to the first person that requests it to me on this thread and sends me a private message with her full address. I'll take care of the cost of shipping, just send me a nice postcard as a thank-you note to make me happy.

Wow... I'm not sure what running would be like in a headspace as surrealistic as Murakami's fiction!

The book is actually pretty realistic. Very much so, in fact.

I'm sending it to Kacie, and who knows when she's done if she and her husband are not attached to it maybe it will travel some more!

I listened to this audio book earlier this year. I enjoyed the flow of it. It's not like his other work, at all.
