    multi purposing tri shorts

They make great "form" wear (shapewear) - that's the underwear that kinda suck you in and don't give you VPL (visible pantie line).

I went out last night in a dress, a rare occurance for me in winter. It was really cold. I was thinking back to my high school uniform days where we used to wear track pants and roll them up to the knees underneath our kilt uniforms and then it struck me. My tri-pants were just perfect for warmth
    AND no VPL.

Now I can justify to my dh how much I paid for the suckers.

Rowing shorts are even better (less of a pad), but might not be as good on the bike!

I will never buy another bike!
