Just peeked at new cycling jerseys. Probably a good thing I can't afford to spend on yet another new jersey. Besides probably have enough that I've forgotten I had certain jerseys.
So I confess that I have:
9 short sleeved cycling jerseys
3 long sleeved cycling jerseys. (Thank gooodness for multiples, my luggage is temporarily lost in Seattle with a jersey packed inside.)
1 sleevless cycling jersey --haven't worn this yet. I bought it before I moved to Vancouver. Find our summers not hot enough to wear it.
Keep in mind, I didn't start wearing any cycling jerseys until 10 years after returning to cycling! Used to be very anti-cycling jersey oriented. I didn't want to look sporty at that time even though I was piling in 5,000-6,000 kms. annually in T-shirt years.
Surely there are some serious cycling jersey affectionados here that would blast past these above numbers.
I've come a long way, maybe too much, jersey wise. But better than buying too many purses.![]()

It's easier now that I only wear hi-viz.There's zero temptation to buy jerseys I don't need.
I did get a club jersey, but very rarely wear it (and only when I know I'll be in a large group for the entire ride). Then, of the jerseys I still have from 25 years ago, I still wear two wool Cortina jerseys in the coldest weather.

I thought I had more but that is what I just counted. I have two jackets, which is a bit funny since I live in Texas and one would do!

Guess Biciclista you did wear a leopard print jacket for a photo here once upon a time?
All jerseys and jackets that I have, have been an accumulation over past 8 yrs. I make my clothing last.
Er...wasn't asking about cycling jackets, but here it goes:
1 heavy waterproof Gortex for winter cycling
3 jackets --different ages, 1 of them the zipper is ready to fall apart. Another jacket has some blobs of acrylic black paint. Got messed up with my art supplies from class a few years ago. But I still wear it. After all, who really notices when zipping along on the bike. 2 of 3 jackets can be converted to hi-vi vests by unzipping sleeves.
1 light water-repellant jacket
My only justification for all this cycling stuff, it becomes handy especially when one is unemployed and cannot spend more money unnecessarily.I'm really grateful now for my previous years of cycling apparel purchasing insanity.
We also live a car-free life. So same money for gas..for apparel instead. Yes, yes, yes, another justification.
I do loan my apparel for visiting guests if they aren't totally prepared with right jacket, etc. for a bike ride.

2 short-sleeve jerseys
4 long-sleeve jerseys

I am only counting true cycling jerseys, not the multipurpose workout stuff I sometimes wear. This has been accumulated over about 6 years, all except gifts purchased when the items were at a good sale price.
4 sleeveless jerseys
5 short sleeve jerseys
1 long sleeve full zip jersey/jacket
One water resistant windbreaker that is beginning to peel apart.
My winter stuff is mostly non-cycling specific.

and I've worn it once.
I wear wool shirts or running shirts for the most part. Since I always have a pannier or bar-bag, I don't need the pockets. I dunno, they just don't come into my life, and I don't invite them. I don't mind them on other people, I just don't seem to desire them for myself.

Shh.. I have one jacket (well, a windbreaker) and I think I'd actually like another one. My jacket rocks though.. it's convertible so I can take the sleeves off if I want
But as far as jerseys go..
4 short sleeve (one of which is too short on me and I don't wear)
1 long sleeve
I need moreI will be making more soon.... going to make 2 wool jerseys and probably some fun short sleeve and sleeveless ones as we get more into spring..
I must have at least 8 short sleeved jerseys. I've thrown out all of the old ones that have grease on them, or shrunk, or got too big. Geez, I have 3 Eurohalters and 3 regular sleeveless jerseys. Then I have 2 long sleeved jerseys, 2 long sleeved jerseys with a light lining, 2 wool jerseys (they have pockets), and 3 fleece ones (which I wear x country skiing and snow shoeing, too).
I have one wind jacket, one vest, and 2 rain jackets. Oh, and the very nice wind stopping jacket/jersey that I bought from Bluetree. It's pretty heavy. Two helmets, 5 pairs of gloves, one lighter full fingered gloves, and one pair of AmFibs.
I guess you could say I like buy cycling clothes. I used spend most of my $ at Ann Taylor. Now I spend it at Terry or TE. Sometimes, my DH buys me stuff and surprises me, too.
That's not counting the shorts, skorts, tights, board shorts with liners, knickers, both casual and fitted.
Oy, I am an addict.
5 long sleeve
3 short sleeve
2 sleeveless
2 jackets
This year, I'll be adding an Ibex short sleeve or two if I love it.
1 long sleeve jersey
3 short sleeve jerseys
2 sleeveless jerseys (but 1 was really too big even when I bought it and was 15 lbs heavier)
1 light jacket with zip-off sleeves (haven't actually done that though)
I'm here to make you all feel better. This is dedicated cycling attire (though I did just wear my hi-vis cycling vest for a run yesterday):
long sleeve: 9
short sleeve: 17
sleeveless or tanks: 19
vests: 3
jackets: 4
This does not count the ~ 2 feet of hanging space in the basement dedicated to cycling things that don't fit me, either.Of course, those are mostly bottoms...but still, there are a few tops, too.
