    I vote for "Toughy."

When I got my dog, his name was Shadow. I didn't like that, so I changed it to Shiloh. With my southern accent, I don't think he can tell.

My mom had a dog named Honey Lamb. She adopted it out to someone who changed it to Cunningham.

Yay for Puffy! (and for Edna & Dave, too!!)

We changed both our dogs names after adoption. One was 'Quickdraw' (nice name for a girl puppy?) and we dubbed her Maggie. She was only about 4 months old, though. The other was older (over a year old) and came with the name Jimmy, but we changed it to Charlie and he took to it right away. I think that most dogs just want to be called - they don't care what you call them!

Puffy/Buffy's got a nice new pack! hope she'll bring loads of joy into her new family's life!

When I got my dog, he came with the name "Chevy". I debated changing it because I would never name a dog after a car. But he just looked like a Chevy. And besides, I live in a very pretentious neighbourhood, so it was great having a redneck kind of dog with a trailer park name (no offense to anyone intended by my statement!)

Over the 6.5 years I had him he had a slew of names I called him: Chevs, Chevro, Chevrolet, Ro-Ro, Bumbum, Pupperoni, Baby, Handsome... Towards the end it didn't matter what I called him, he was pretty deaf so there were a lot of hand gestures

I'm liking Dave's initial impression "Critter" as it appeals to my southern and wacky senses. I'm also partial to "Red", "Hepburn", "Munchkin", and "Oompa-Loompa"

When I got Quid (full name Quidditch) I debated between Quid & Taz... but there were so many Taz's in the doggie world. I was hip deep in Harry Potter novels at the time and decided since he generally flew around like a broom gone wild at a Quidditch game, that would be his name.

What ever you call her will be fun, as long as you don't call her late for supper (you knew that was comin')

    Puffy

She is such a little cutie!!

I like "Critter" but also thought of "RED".

She is in for a new experience today... It is now snowing!

Oh my! You're going to have to take her coat shopping Its a shame TE doesn't have little pet coats with the TE logo. She'd look very sporty.

Both my dogs came with their (probably shelter-endowed) names: Zeke and Lucy. Lots of Lucy-dogs in the world. I even fostered a little Yorkie named Lucy, too. Haven't run into any other Zekes, ever.

I'm so glad little Puffin got a forever home. I was getting her an airline ticket to Arkansas in my mind.
