Anyone have a ride I can attach myself onto, am in east bay until january 4th and would love to ride with TE-ers. No car, but can get to BART and of course, have my bike.

I was thinking maybe I'd try to drag all the bay Area TE gals and guys out. I mean come on, she's here from Bogota. That's like another country, maybe even another continent.

Well, not to politicize the thread but was it a certain VP candidate who referred to Africa as a country? This is a women's outdoorsy folks forum (with some men) and I hear she runs so I don't want to name names in case she lurks.

Please post some rides. I'll make an attempt to get over to the Contra Costa side next week. Mon, Tues, Wed, Thurs all fine with me.

Haven't done Diablo lately as it's been pretty cold up there. Might be interested in a ride up to the junction- nside up, so down (or down so and back up to junction and then back down north).

Pleasant Hill BART is very close to the Canal Trail. l can meet folks at BART station if want. Also Heather Farms has great parking and easy access to north side.

I'm picking TB up at BART on Wed. at 10:30. We'll park at Arbolado Park and ride the north side up and down. The plan is to be leaving Arbolado by 11. I plan on taking TB to the summit. It's her first Diablo trip and she'll need pictures.
