    Favorite 6-7" inseam, lower-rise short?

Any suggestions? I'm eyeballing the Shebeest SSS and PI Attack shorts...and any other models that are well-liked. Don't care to dump that kind of dough into a pair of shorts unless I know they get recommendations, though.

    Thanks!

Shebeest S Pros. I love them.
I had the SSS, but I had trouble finding them after a while and there was something about the chamois I didn't like.

So I got a pair of the SSS short after reading favorable reviews all over the place--really glad I didn't get the Pro. Right now I HATE the SSSs. The chamois would be great if I sat on my tailbone. In order to get the chamois to cover my sit bones and my hooha I have to yank the front of the short up so high that I look like Steve Erkle. So much for a low rise short and they end up sliding back, anyhow...then I have seams directly over my sitbone area. This was a waste of money and I couldn't tolerate more than 5.5 miles on the trainer before I said nuts on it.

I thought running was expensive...at least I will never drop more than $40 on any piece of running attire that I can throw in the back of the drawer.

Put them up in the for sale section and they won't be a total loss... lots of TE'rs aren't shy about a gently used clean pair of shorts from another TE'r.

Now that you have that much information to go on, give TE a call. They're super helpful suggesting shorts that might work for you, and they have a great return policy.

That sounds like very good advice! I'm sure someone will want them...most of the reviews I see for this short are very good. Perhaps I have a weird shape, but I did see one TE reviewer who found the exact same fit issues with the chamois.
