Beware Koobface virus!

If you happen to be a Myspace or Facebook fan, watch out for messages from your friends with a link to watch some amazing video. It comes to your inbox, so your first instinct is to trust it. When you click on the link, you are directed to another page and told that you need to download a new flash player program to watch the video. Downloading the new program is what allows the virus to enter your computer. I don't know if it damages your computer, but it does send the same message to all your friends.
I got a suspicious message from my SIL today (misspellings, lots of exclamation marks, etc.) telling me to watch some Youtube video with images of me in it. I did click on the first link in her message, but saw very suspicious adult content on the next page so didn't get to the point of being asked to download the flash player. I also have a Mac and am apparently immune to it anyway, but I wouldn't want to take a chance with it!
I immediately called her because I knew she wouldn't send such a message. My Yahoo account got hijacked last year, and I was so annoyed that people who knew me would think I would send a message with misspelled words and poor grammar!
