Thanks, everyone, for your input. My SO and I pretty much decided the folks in NC, as great as they seem, are not for me right now. My focus isn't on some of the things they work on...I just want to be comfortable on my bike. Period.
The bike decision was made really quickly after all...an opportunity arose to purchase a 52cm wineberry Gunnar Roadie frame from Ebay. We will use some of the components I now have on my Colnago, since they are high end, and build it up. The price was right. I can have this one fitted, and depending on how much I love it - my next one can be custom all the way!
I have a picture of the frame, but I can't figure out how to post it, so if any of you have any suggestions...

To post pics, from the reply to thread screen, go down to where it says "Manage Attachments". Click on it, then browse to where you've stored the image and click on it!

Hi Pedal Wench...the Colnago is waiting on the arrival of the Gunnar. Unfortunately, the sale of the Colnago frame will have to off-set the purchase of the Gunnar. The Colnago - which I absolutely adore - is just too big for me, and that's why I've been (actually this was my DSO's baby) looking.
I'll try your suggestion, but no luck so far.

Oh, it's so sad that you have to sell your Colnago. I ride one too and, like you, I absolutely adore it. I'd offer to buy it, but if it's too big for you and you're replacing it with a 52cm bike, I'm guessing it would be too big for me too. I'm currently riding a 52cm bike.

Thanks, Skibum. We will be selling the frame only, as that is how we bought the Colnago. I know, it is sad to sell it,
but there may be another - better fitting one - in my future. This is just a relatively inexpensive way to *try out* a smaller frame. 
Oh, and the Roadie is here & is beautiful!! As soon as I get it built up I'll get a picture posted!
