Springmaid Splash in western NC August 22nd?

I will be traveling in NC in Aug. and want to do this run - the Springmaid Splash. It's a 10K cross country including three river crossings!:

Wont be able join you, since it's pretty far away & I have the Ultra that weekend, but I just had to say this race looks like a ton of fun!!

We have the "Filthy 5k" here which looks similar, I look forward to that race every year because it's so silly to watch everyone trying to navigate the puddles and mud.

Have fun! I'm excited to hear how it went.

Thanks! I registered for it, now to prepare... I guess trail running would be the key.
