My 80-yr. father filmed today on tv, hauling garbage bag to a temporary dump site that the City of Toronto has set up due to striking municipal garbage workers.

It is surreal to see this..we have camera shy parents. They don't even like us taking candid photos of them. They prefer the posed, nicely presented photos of themselves.

So this truly is a cultural shift..fame via garbage dump.
