Cool! What apps have you found?
At first I thought: who stole Cunninghamair's profile pic- until I read under your name that you, indeed, ARE cunninghamair.![]()

I'm out of town on business, with a colleague feigning interest in my cycling. (What race is this?) In the middle of trying to explain why 50 mile rides are what we consider fun..........a stranger pipes in. "I hate to interrupt..........." He used to live in Florida and now lives in Dallas. Told me about his visit to Mellow Johnny's, advised adding the Hotter n Hell to my list, told me to looking up Wounded Warrior's rides in my area, showed me pics of his bike, told me about being HIT BY A CAR and tumbling six times through an intersection while still clipped in--and jumping up to make sure his bike was ok. He then followed up with "which cycling apps do you have on your iphone?" He vanished as quick as he appeared but, he's kept me busy all day looking this stuff up!

It's so true! I was recently in a store and got into a bike conversation with the clerk. He was an encyclopedia of cycling history, being the son of a national road race champion. If I hadn't wondered how that pair of glasses would be on my bike (on me on my bike), I would have never had such a great conversation.
He suggested the livestrong app--connected to dailyplate and counts calories and exercise (excellent database). Also the aeroweather--better than the one that comes on the iphone. I also have imapmyride app--I've used it when my gps died, but it also sucks the batteries.
