    Hi everyone!

Ok it has been way to long and I am sorry if anyone was worried. Thanks Nina for slapping me awake!
I have just been busy with a lot of sculpture's and my niece being in and out of the hospital again. My husband blew his acl (which u can still bike by the way if it's not to bad) when we were playing doubles in Volleyball. Ummm all my kitties are good. I miss them something awful right now. I have been on the road since June 29th and don't get home till Aug 4th. But we are keeping busy with work and that is a blessing in it self! Hope I can do some catch up here.
    Hugs to all

I am so glad I still have friends here! I have missed you all. and your support! Work has been slower this year but still ok. Lucky for us people still need to be entertained! We are at the orange county fair for 34 days. I am on day hmmmm? What day is it anyway? I know I have 21 days left. There are tons of womnderful concerts here too. We saw Heart last friday and Duran Duran on sat. My hubby is a fan of Heart (he is 10 years older then me) and me DD. We were so tired after the weekend! We take no time off and my hubby has been going since June 9th with work. We have only gotten into one spat since this whirl wind started! We did leave work early the last two days. Mon and Tues are dark days at the fair. We shouldn't come in at all but it is so nice and quite! Anyway as soon as I ihave something to share photo wise I will. In the mean time I will post a link to my FB page so you cansee what we have going so far. http://www.facebook.com/album.php?ai...0&l=1bbe9af81f

So do you use different sands to create the different hues in your sculpture?

    Hey Brandi!
I thought about you as your former blue day pack joined me on field trips this past month - it's been out on a barrier island, and in various marshes, gaining some new lovely smells according to my kitties. Fortunately complete water resistance wasn't tested - that's what the dry bag is for!

Update us about Lorelei when you get a chance - sorry to hear she's been back in the hospital.

Hi Brandi! I've been seeing news items about sand sculpture festivals here and there, wondering if you've been to any of them. Any pictures of your latest works?

Hugs and butterflies to Lorelei! Even with a clear and treatable diagnosis, it can still take time to work out the wrinkles on a treatment, and then that too may need to be adjusted as she grows. I hope they get it working well for her and manage to keep it like that over time.
Half-marathon over. Sabbatical year over. It's back to "sacking shirt and oat cakes" as they say here.
