Congratulations! You've giving me some encouragement because I signed up to do the Danskin Tri and do to a family situation I haven't been able to train at all! I've all but given up. I'm 60 and this will be my 3rd Danskin, that is if I do it this year. I might get in the pool soon and see how it feels. I don't run anymore so I don't think waking 3 miles would be too difficult even though it is the last leg. I'm not too worried about the bike either. Anyone out there have any thoughts as to whether it would be a mistake at my age to do it even though I haven't trained?

Just take your time and have finishing be the goal instead of time. There were a lot of people walking and they had some non-swimmers! They were given a swim buddy and a water noodle (a person and a pool toy) to help them. I can't imagine doing it if I couldn't swim but they did it.
