I want to be that kid! Imagine: a) that epically beautiful ride and b) riding with Lance! I'm envious.

I so want to go ride those routes one day. My bike is named after one (the Izoard), so I think it's just fitting he should get to see the top of it one day.

Too cute. I love it! Though I couldn't help but want to fix Liam's little helmet

I saw that yesterday and LOVED it! I am sure the boy was incredibly excited, but I also imagine his dad was insanely excited!

I wanted to fix his helmet too!

Wow!! Such natural. I hope he doesn't wreck his body from overtraining. Kid need to be kids and I hope his dad isn't pushing him to a poin where Liam loses interest in cycling or sport for that matter.

On a more positive note, Liam really rocks!! Way to go!!!

So where is he from? spoke English. I could see him in U23?? catagory in US finals and winning in another 10 years.

Here is Liam's Dads blog about the meeting: http://www.fathersontour.com/2009/06...g-link-to.html

Lucky kid to be able to share such a cool cycling trip with his dad and to actually meet Lance is just a bonus.

for a father THAT into cycling you would think he would make sure the kid had a proper fitting helmet.
I thought that was SOO cool, but I cringed at the helmet. And when you look at the blog his helmet is askew in almost ALL of the shots.

Wow, little Liam packs a punch. How cool! Had to say- it was nice to hear Lance out of breath as he was talking. Makes me think he's just slightly human. I always imagine him climbing mountains and not being out of breath at all.
