Do any of you ever get lower back pain after riding for awhile?

Yes, I do on occasion, especially if I am fighting a headwind for a long time or doing a lot of climbing. It always goes away right after I get off the bike. I used to get it much more often when I rode a Terry bike with too short a stem. I have many fewer problems now that I ride bikes where my position on the bike is a bit more stretched out. So, you could have a bit of a bike fit problem. Have you had a bike fitting done?

Actually no - that would probably help. I have done a lot of cycling lately, lots of hills and have noticed my sciatica (sp???) has been acting up.
