    Actually, it does look kind of like fun to me. It does address the fact that the upper body is mostly just along for the ride on most bike rides. I wouldn't use one as my Going Places And Doing Things bike, but the odd trip down the block or along the bike trail would do the core muscles good.

    I'm not ready to buy, but if someone would give me one. . .

    It doesn't look anywhere as bad as those "swing" scooters.... - they look like a scooter with two platforms and you kind of pedal them up and down... They cannot physically travel in a straight line..... thus the appellation "swing scooter" - they travel by swinging back and forth. Some bozo must rent them near one of our local multi-use trails - so complete novices get out on an already busy trail with these stupid contraptions that need to use the whole width of the trail to just move argh!

    They'll also sell you a trainer stand for it. Sorta becomes an expensive rowing machine at that point
