    Credit Card touring-San Diego to...?

    To disable ads, please log-in.

I'd like to start doing some "credit card touring" on weekends, starting from San Diego. Maybe just an over-nighter to start then progressing from there. I need to see if my knees will hold up for longer distances.

Anyone have experience doing this (from SD)? Anyone interested?

San Diego to Palm Springs, I think it's about 100 hilly miles.

It's where you don't bring camping gear or such and pay for things on the go. A light-weight version of touring, just more expensive

Hmm, I'd probably need to work up to this distance. Plus, it would be pretty toasty this time of year. I'm thinking of something like taking the train from downtown SD to Oceanside then riding up the coast. Maybe Laguna Beach?
