Should you be the first one out on the trails...remember you'll need time to wipe all the cobwebs off your helmet & everywhere else![]()
I ventured out a few hours ago to do a cool trail. I really enjoy venturing round a corner, running into a spiderweb whilst attempting to not hit the grass tree on the side. BUT...it's sooo much fun![]()
I have my first club XC race on Sunday..it's been 2yrs since I was able to participate in the last club XC race season. Great trail, windy & will keep me on my toes![]()
That's gotta be exciting! I hope you do well.

Great pic crazycanuck! Love those Groundeffect pants! I wore mine in the 6Hour Enduro I did on the weekend too - mighty comfy and nice thick lycra too! Here's a link to a pic of me in the race eating lots of dirt!

Maybe I'd eat less dirt if I smiled less! But it was sort of fun.... after I went home and had a shower!![]()
Were you affected by the Qld floods?
Did you do the 6hr on a team or solo? Certainly looks like wet fun! Last year's 6hr here in Perth was in very very very wet conditions![]()
Yep, I love my GE nicks![]()
No flooding here - a bit too far south thank heavens! Just plenty of rain.
I did the 6hour in a two-person-mixed team. It was kind of weird because the skies were really grey but it never rained, but the track was just incredibly deep in mud. So it was very sapping on the legs - I wasn't sure I wanted to go back out again after my first lap!But in the end I did 5 laps because my team mate kept going out to do a lap and so I had to go out and do one too, because the female team member has to do 50% of the laps or you get busted into the all male category!
And I was still a bit weary because I had done the bike leg of the Mooloolaba triathlon for a friend's team the weekend before (in the pouring rain)! So I think I'd have done one lap and sat down for the rest of the day if I was going solo!!![]()
Most excellent CC
What a fun way to make your come-back.
What a journey to get back to here, huh?
You are (to sound a tad corny) an inspiration.
So pleased you have such a great pic. Way to go CC. You ROCK!
Courage does not always roar. Sometimes, it is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying,
"I will try again tomorrow".
