    yep

Hey enzed ladies! NSW is just about with you into 09, just a couple of hours away!

    Have a wonderful 09

We're headed home tomorrow on yet another road trip. This time we have a couple of extra days to visit a few more places. On the cards are: Parkes, Broken Hill & Coober Pedy.

Yes, happy New Years everyone! Hubby and I were going to go into town to meet up with a DJ friend but ended up avoiding the awful weather and feral Courtney Place crowds. Instead we curled up on the sofa instead with our cats, lit some candles and drank a bottle of wine we've been cellaring for 10 years. All up it was a great evening and I'm off to bed now. I'm supposed to be riding tomorrow but it might have to be a trainer session if these gales don't let up. The wind has owned me twice already this week and I can't face a third battle!

Happy New Year from Norway too. Party's over. Talked to my Mom. Will soon log off and go to bed. It's 02:20 am.
Half-marathon over. Sabbatical year over. It's back to "sacking shirt and oat cakes" as they say here.

    A belated thanks Mr S

My partner, my 5 children (2 of them adults but home for the Christmas/New Year period) and me all walked /motor-biked up the hill (600m above sea level)on our farm at about 11pm and waited under a clear stunning night sky for midnight to arrive so we could see the fireworks displays of the 2 nearest cities.

I had made everyones fave choc-chip biscuits so we ate those while we watched a stunning display (and waited in absolute silence for the cracks/booms of the fireworks to reach us - about 15 seconds).

It was a great way to see in the New Year

I trust 2009 brings the Silver family, and all other members of the TE family joy (but also a little sadness for without sadness how do we appreciate all the truly wonderful moments) and success (as well as striving for success, for if we achieve everything we set out to, we can lose interest in trying).

I wish everyone passion in everything you do - loving, laughing, cycling, crying, healing, believing, challenging and understanding.

Passion is life, is energy, is essential... we are human beings. and passion allows us to "be".

Courage does not always roar. Sometimes, it is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying,
    "I will try again tomorrow".
