Four days at the NORBA nat's...

Home late last night... still decompressing. What a great time! I marshalled DH practice for beginners and experts, the expert/semi-pro/jr expert XC races, the beginner/sport/ jr olympic kids/tandem/SS/clydesdale XC race, and the short track.
Whew! It was sunny and hot, great venue and great people.

I was there for the whole four days, along with my hubby on the medic crew. I took tons of photos. The pro short track was really exciting.

anyway... what all do y'all want to hear about? It's going to take a few days to go through my photos and get them up on the web. Here's a teaser:
top of the crux of the DH course

I am the orange shirt at the top of the course.

Let me know if you want story or pictures.

Top photos Irulan! Looks like a pretty hectic four day relaxing in the sunshine, watching the talent ..erm, I mean the serious athletes

Some of those DH pics are incredible - I think I'd have second thoughts going down those rock on my feet or even my backside, let alone try it on a bike. That must take some serious nerve and skills. And how would you practise / break yourself in to going down a ride like that? As 98% of my riding is on the road I take my hat off to people who can tackel terrain like that.

PS Nice pic of you and your hubby. Great to share hobbies isn't it.
