    What I learned today...

    Hi,
Well, I have discovered that Quinn (my new bike) and I need to get to know one another better. I learned a couple of things today and wanted to share them with you:
    1. Patience!
    2. I've learned that I have a lot to learn about Quinn.
    3. Cappy and Quinn are vastly different
    4. Riding on the road, in the rain for the first time on a new bike is NOT a good idea
    5. Road/Touring bikes
    6. Quinn likes to go a lot faster than Cappy did
    7. My new bike computer is not speaking english right now and I need to figure out how to fix that
    8. Drop handle bars are different but kind of fun (and will probably be more fun when i get used to them)
    9. I'm definitely getting those brake thingies to put on the top bar of the handle bars because I don't think my poor pubic bone can take too much of me forgetting that the brakes are lower on the handlebars. OUCH!

So, that's what I learned today. I still love Quinn and I'm so upset that it rained so much today that I couldn't really go try her out on my usual route. But, I will get there. I did take Cappy's seat off and put it on Quinn and that worked very well.
Bottom line, both Quinn and I got wet today and when it dries out a bit we'll try this again.

Grayson, that's hilarious only because I've had those days myself! You two will become very well-acquainted the more you spend time together. I'm glad you're not too frustrated and, when you are, refer to item Number 1 - Patience!
