    Vehicle/Bike Shuffle.....it works!

On an earlier thread, someone suggested that a rider drive their vehicle to work one day, taking their bike with them, leave the vehicle there and then ride home, and so on.... Saw that and thought, 'hey, I like that idea'!

Tried it last week. Drove my vehicle in on Tuesday morning and then rode my bike back and forth through the week, finally bringing the vehicle home on Friday afternoon. Worked great! This way I could have the vehicle at work for meetings and appointment and still commute. Didn't miss my vehicle in the evenings as I rarely use it then. Added bonus is that it kept me and my bike out of the Friday afternoon traffic which always seems to be a little bizarre!

Hope to keep on doing this for a few more weeks - at least until it is both too dark and too cold in the mornings.

Wondering if anyone else does this regularly?

NOt exaclty but DH and I have been sucessfully not driving or gas guzzling truck by taking one person to work in my fuel efficient car and then they ride home. It uses barely more gas on the car since we work close and keeps us not using the truck. We only drive both cars 1 day a week so he can go mountain biking.
