I agree - and I liked him, too. He didn't seem cocky or anything. Had that "nice, humble guy" look when he crossed the line.
Apparently the consequences are not serious enough. 2 year ban? Guess it needs to be more strict than that.

You haven't heard much about his mouthiness during the Giro eh?........ He was appears to have been a lot more reserved for the TdF, but he was acting like a real spoiled little brat during the Giro. Some of the stuff he's quoted as saying over race radio is priceless....
