hee-hee, the ups and downs of bike commuting
I have 3 or 4 pants/skirts/tops SS/LS, usually 2 sets of underwear and 2 pairs of shoes at work. I have a small gym-type locker (except it doesn't lock) with a huge bag of clothes squeezed into it. The benefit of showering every day once I get to work, and changing out of my work clothes before I head home, is that those work clothes last a long time before they need washing. Don't get very dirty after I've sat 6 hours quietly behind my desk in them. But the downside is that when I DO need to take something home, I may forget the next day that I no longer have a full outfit at work and yes, I've done that mad dash across the street to buy undies or a pair of tights many times
Finally stashed a set of underwear, a pair of socks and a belt that I don't like much at the bottom of that bag, so that I always have a back-up.
