    Ibex Gloves

I want to get some Ibex gloves while they're on sale, but I can't figure out which ones to buy.

    Does anyone have a pair?
    If so, which ones?
What is the coldest weather you can wear them in on a bike?
Because not every fast cyclist is a toothpick...

I have a 'lot' of Ibex stuff and am a huge fan. I have 2 pairs of Ibex gloves, supposedly made for skiing in subzero temps.
They did not keep my fingers warm below 40 degreesF, even with a wool liner.
    Not sure why.

The best plan of attack I have for biking in the 20's temps is to layer gloves.
I do best when I have a thin pair of wool glove liners (merino or cashmere), then a 'regular' pair of cold weather windstopper biking gloves, ....then over that if it's really cold and/or windy, I put a THIRD pair- thin flexible Windstopper men's ski glove with poly (fake down) insulation. It's important that this last layer be loose/oversized and flexible so I can use and move my fingers. Avoid bulky and stiff. It creates another layer of air insulation that works well.
The first wool liner is thin and fits under any glove just fine, so it doesn't really feel like you are wearing 3 pairs of gloves, more like two.
Others like mittens, but I do just fine with this system- works well for me in temps in the 20's and windy downhills, 1-2 hour rides...
Now, you being in TN, it might be much easier than this to keep your fingers warm when biking in the winter.

    so that's my own experience.
