Any favorite books you have for training?

A quick look at Amazon showed me these.

Any others you would recommend - besides the Triathlete's Training Bible?

I liked the Woman Triathlete but found Sally Edwards book a bit dated. Others think it's great though. I also have the Bible, and Slow Fat Triathlete.

    Training Guide

I love my Essential Week-by-Week Training Guide (Triathlete Mag by Matt Fitzgerald). Left on my own I would never train as well, I'm sure of that! I did find it on Amazon, but couldn't figure out how to go about copying it!

I'm sure most training guides are the same. It gives you levels 1 to 10 to choose from (ie, do you want to just have fun and finish, or be somewhat competitive). You choose a level and just follow directions. I LOVE that! No thinking except how to fit it into my schedule.

I believe the schedules in it are about 15 or 16 weeks long, so you are right there!

    Have fun.
