Well, for a weekend at least

I am going to be in SF Aug 1-3. Running the SF half-marathon on Sunday, and catching up with friends the rest of the time. I would love to be able to have a TE reunion lunch or dinner. I know this is a long way off, but wanted to get on the radar screen incase there were any big rides that weekend we would want to plan around.

OK ladies, I now have my plane tickets booked, so am looking at starting to plan who I will see when. I am flying into SFO on Thursday July 31, and am actually landing at 5:30, so I could even do a TE dinner that night...

Jo, when are you and Lee heading up to Shasta? Would you be around on Thursday night or already up enjoying the mountains?

Thursday night is probably the best for me for doing a TE dinner. I think that I will rent a car for the first couple of days as I want to meet up with all of you, and then will be hanging out down around Stanford before heading up to SF to stay with another friend and run the half-marathon on Sunday.

If Thursday is totally out for people, then we could do a Sunday afternoon in the city after I finish running (will be finished quite early and my flight isn't until 6:30pm). I am figuring that Friday I will be getting together with a bunch of Stanford/grad school people, and then Sat I will going to SF to hang out with my friend there (and see the X-files! the real reason I am flying to SF, right? ).

Anywhoo... after all that blabbering... how does a dinner on Thursday July 31 work for people. It would probably have to be 6:30 or later, and I am open in terms of location (especially if I rent a car).
