Team WAR

I just want to give a thumbs up to anyone who rides for team WAR. That is Wenatchee Area Racers. I have been really impressed with the way that the riders on the team conduct themselves at races. They always cheer for people, have racers of all ages and abilities, cross country and downhill, I have even seen some of the people at trail runs. Keep up the great work, you set a new standard for other teams. I just wish some of the loud and obnoxious teams would follow your lead.

you are right, it's good to acknowledge the great examples out there instead of b******g about the bad ones!!

is WAR the ones in white shirts? Are you coming over for the Beacon race?

I won't make it over for the Beacon races. I have a trail run that I do every year. I want to do both, but just can't get over in time. My hubby would have loved doing the race there. The races were just for fun for me, but next year I am doing more downhills(fun fun) Are you riding or volunteering?

I may go and just watch this year> My kid who's an excellent musician has a recital that same day. So I'll just spectate. Now, at Schweitzer I'll be doing something as a volunteer.
