    Sounds good, you guys.

Smilingcat (thanks for the PM) - I'm not sure what time I'll be getting to the Dublin area. What time do you think you'll be at the Dublin station, so I have a time to aim for? If I get to the area early enough, perhaps I can meet you there. I haven't had a chance to check the Bart schedule either, OR how much it costs. I'm so behind...

Dinner was delish' and so much fun to see familiar faces and meet new ones. Olivetos is a little dark so no pictures this year.

Thank you, BikeGoddess for organizing this. Thank you Olivetos waiters for putting up with 6 crazy women cyclists in the midst of the oh so very classy Rockridge crowd ("who let them in? did they have reservations? did you let them in?" ).

Thank you Spazzdog for keeping the tradition alive.

I know everyone will have a great ride tomorrow. Post pictures. Sorry I can't go, not only have I not trained but .... I gotta find a kitchen counter.

the 'dog and I were thinking that I've never seen a velodrome, or live track racing, I've haven't seen a crit close up in 20 years.

We (Sarah and I ) liked Oliveto's but felt a little too expensive and "classy" for such homegrown folks as us. The food was good, but not much of it! Next year, mo betta please!!!!

Sarah remarked that she liked the small group- had a chance to really listen to what everyone said which was quite fun. Spazz was in her usual entertaining mode so we all laughed a lot. This is a great opportunity to see old friends so I hope we continue the tradition.

Pomadoro would have been better price and quantity wize but it was jam packed. So was the brew pub across the street (I don't know if they serve pasta but their food is good). There's good Thai down the street but I did not think to check there.

I should have thought to have them stash us in the cafe', le$$ but still those gourmet portions. I like Oliveto's and sitting here with no kitchen and for some odd reason there's one of my cabinet drawers on a living room chair and another on the sofa as things get put together it is just nice to have the gourmet meal.

I'm sure this will be better planned next year. I like Rockridge and it seemed handy for all.

I could not have asked for better company. Well I could, Knott wasn't there

    Now, how was the ride?

I really enjoyed meeting you all. And Spazzdog is one genuine article. Haven't laughed so hard. Being able to put real faces behind Trek's squid and everyone else was a big big plus for me.

And the face to face direct conversation is so much better than the posts we do here. Well maybe some of you do IM's but it still not the same.

So thank you for coordinating the dinner on such short notice. And on Friday night, What were we thinking???
