Give me some ideas for food please. I'm not sure what y'all can have. Maybe a nice, easy linguini salad? Am I bringing a trainer or not? I'll dig out some skewers if needed too. I have a couple of spares somewhere.

Knot - don't forget to send me an addy please. thanks. (is REI near you? they have a bike rack for the car that I want to check out on the way there.)

    See y'all Sat.
glad you can come, X and Kit...and yes, you'll pass the REI flagship store in dt Seattle - right next to I-5 and there's one fairly close to Knott too - on the north side of Alderwood Mall. We can either get directions to you via PM beforehand or at Knott's.

I may have missed this, but about what time should we start showing up. Unless the weather is crappy, SGTiger and I will be riding at least part way.

Good thing I'm borrowing an Xtracycle. At the moment my load consists of:

My work stand, truing stand and dishing tool (because you never know when one of those things will come in handy).

My smaller tool box with various bike tools

    A cooler

The Walking Star Wars Book of Knowledge

    I'll be the slow one.

However, no kilt this time. It's terribly uncomfortable.

Thanks M. I need the flagship store. There are only a few stores carrying the one I want to check out. It's gotten good reviews but I need to see it in person. We shall be loading the bikes in the back for the drive there, I think.

    Saturday, 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. or so.

Bike fitting on my cement patio, which is partially covered.
Mechanical entertainment provided by Mr. TigerKilt in the dining room.
    I'll supply pop/juice/water/coffee/tea.
Y'all supply food and BYO alcoholic goodies.
Wahine has trainer stands covered, but bring your own if you would rather trust yours with your bike.
Bring your stand skewer if your regular skewer isn't stand compatible.

My apartment is small, so lets cross our fingers for good weather that will allow us to do stuff outside!

(and if I haven't PM'd you directions still, nag me some more. Cuz I 'm disorganized)

    If I'm in town

    Hi there, I'm kinda new.

Had my beautiful bike stolen last month and got lots of support from this message board, so I'd love the chance to meet some of you in person. 50/50 chance I have to go out of town this weekend, so we'll see.

Still no replacement bike, but I'm working on it. In the meantime, I have been shaking the rust off of my theft-proof tank of an mtb, which desperately wants to go back to being an mtb.

Hope to meet you soon, if not on Saturday.

    Jocelyn

Hey, Jocelyn! Chris and I met you at the bike swap, taped one of your bike pics to our table. If you don't make this one, there'll be another coming along...see you there!
