    Yellowstone this spring

    Ladies,

Just reconfigured my vacation this morning to accommodate a spring cycling trip to Yellowstone.

((April 18–West side roads open to motor vehicles. Mammoth to Norris Junction to Madison Junction to Old Faithful; Madison Junction to West Entrance; Norris Junction to Canyon))

So the plan is to leave from Jackson at 7 a.m. on Friday, April 11 and by 10 a.m. pedal from West Yellowstone up to Gardiner, spend the night here

Last year we did four girls to a room so it was really cheap, but whatever you feel comfortable with. Ann didn't kick much.

Then pedal back to West Yellowstone on Saturday. It's about 57 miles each way, with the hella hill on Saturday morning up to Mammoth and above it. I'll be getting a head start on Saturday morning because the hill was so difficult for me last year (coming down with a lung infection while pedaling up that hill gave me my first-ever asthma attack, but with a good inhaler, a month of training and a head start to warm up the lungs slowly, I should be fine).

Check out last year's blog entry for a little travelogue:

    Who's interested?

Feel free to forward to any nice ladies. I guess boys aren't prohibited, if you really want to bring one. But girl power rules!

    Great minds think alike

That's the same weekend we're going!

We're planning to leave from the north entrance, to get that hill out of the way very first thing. And now you REALLY have me worried about that hill. I'm be pulling my BOB trailer so I'll make sure everyone packs extra light!

We'll have to meet halfway for lunch, or maybe we'll change our starting point. Although I am bring my husband. But he's an easy guy to get along with. bikerHen

Bump. I'm afraid that this should also be in the Rocky Mountain section. I think I'll put a tag over there.

I'm going. Driving up to WY on Friday AM early as I have a night meeting at work the night before and am staying in WY Sat night. Hubby might come, but he won't be riding if he does come. He's still unconfirmed, so for now I'm assuming that I'm staying with the gurls in Mammoth Fri night.

Any other Utah ladies from the SLC area interested? We could drive up together Friday am. Nothing like hitting I-15 at 5 am!

wow I really wish I was, but I'm in no place to do it ( physically, educationally, and locationally). Please post how the trip was! I loved reading about it last time.
