I have never done this. Is there a site you can go to for free and load your photo's for friends to see. You know just send them a link to it or something? so you guys can see my hawaii photo's without me trying to post them.

i use flickr for things if i want to post them on a site that i can't upload them to. i also upload my pics to shutterfly for ordering and then my family can get to them and order to if they want. and now shutterfly lets you set up a page of your own, so i end up sending my family a link that says something like w.mytitlehere.shutterfly.com and then they go there and see all sorts of albums. i have a password for them to get into that site, and i don't remember if an option was to not have a password or not, but it very well could have been.

that all may be more work than what you are looking for, just that for me it covers both the "sharing with family" and "ordering prints for me" aspect.

Our family uses www.kodakgallery.com. It's great because you don't have to download some epic email with 10 pictures.
