    Talking New Bike Pics!

    She came today!!!!!!!

Just finished putting her together, haven't installed pedals yet or removed the spoke protector (I'm going to leave it on until I'm sure I can get a good fit; my fitting isn't until next Thursday . Oh the suspense!).

    Here's a sneak peak:

Normally I don't have a tendency to anthropomorphize objects but this bike is definitely a she . She's a Scott Contessa CR1 pro. I actually ordered an xs frame, but swapped out for longer, standard cranks instead of the 165mm compact that came stock. The brake levers are Shimano R700, and the reach is noticeably shorter -- I think I'm going to like it...

    So pretty!

I have the Shimano R700 levers, too. My stubby fingers love them.

She's beautiful! Lately I've had "Isn't She Lovely?" by Stevie Wonder stuck in my head when it comes to bikes. LOL

Just noticing this post now, but hey, that's one gorgeous hunk of bike you've got there.

What's that handlebar? It looks incredibly, wonderfully shallow!
