That's amazing! Completely unprofessional!! They'd better prominently feature you in an article, give you free advertising or something.
How did the conference go this weekend, by the way?

just a quick vent. how many of you get the beginnertriathlete.com newsletter? I just subscribed to it earlier this year and got a copy in my inbox this afternoon. one of my published articles was printed in the newsletter and on the website -- attributed to another coach!!! they've corrected this, but I had to spend over an hour of my time anxiously tracking down the coach and a contact from bt.com before it was finally corrected -- emotional energy I didn't need to waste today. alas....I just needed to vent for a minute.

HA! I have a good one too!
I had a guy call me and ask if I had a certain Felt mtn bike in stock.
We do, so he was going to come down. A few hours later I get a call from him asking where we are located.
Apparently Felt has (hopefully HAD by now) our HOME ADDRESS on their dealer locater!
The poor guy! He said when he called he was sitting in front of our house!
OY!
But yeah, these little things are so dang annoying huh?
RunningMommy, you made my day! Thank you for sharing that. I've had some weird address mix-ups, too.
The article was published by a triathlete coach on his website and he contributes to BT.com and they just picked it up thinking it had been written by him.
I do give permission for my articles to be reprinted -- if they are expressly attributed to me. This has happened enough now that I think we're going to have to convert everything to PDF with big huge statements everywhere about reprinting. Argh!
MP, the conference was awesome (besides my 6 hour delay at SFO on Friday)! I'm going to blog about all the various sessions on my blog this week.
So, which article is yours?
I'd rather be swimming...biking...running...and eating cheesecake...

Both sites have removed it. If you get the BT newsletter it's the "don't chase that rabbit" piece on base training.

I'm sorry that your authorship of this article got messed up. It's a good article. I remember reading it on BT and seeing it in the newsletter. It made me think about my rides and training, but I haven't figured out how to implement it with my riding terrain.

Meaning your terrain is too hilly? If that's the case, get more gears. Seriously. It's hilly as all get-out in CA but we can keep intensity low by riding at a more moderate/slow pace and definitely utilize the climbing gears for winter training.
And thank you for your compliment.
