    Hey Trek,
Yep, you're right: Zac Daab is the owner of Cascade Studios and he moved back to Seattle (from the Seven HQ in MA) a couple of years ago. His place is in the heart of Fremont, but behind the coffee shop and others on 36th, so it's tucked away and not easy to find.
I have a Seven and Zac knows it's my dream bike and has treated it accordingly every time.
Right also, in that he doesn't have coffee, but Peet's as well as several other outrageously great cafes are close by...
Zac's isn't a LBS, per se, as he works by appointment and doesn't have gear, etc as in a retail storefront, but we can swing by sometime when you're in town...as I think that you and Knot have frequented Free Range Cycles which is only a block or so away too...

Great! He's near the Peets store? I'm thinking I may be up there in March. I will let you know.

Hey, Mary, are you in his gallery of bikes and owners?

Actually, no...I hadn't thought of it, but would be happy to participate. I did my Seven bike fit and purchase through Zac's predecessor and Zac was the fit technician then at Seven's HQ who did my follow up phone call/fit interview before the final adjustments were done to my order!
I have only ever taken my Seven to Zac for service too.
In looking at the gallery, #59 looks most like my Seven Elium, just not as pretty of course!

And Trek, yeah, it's up around the corner from Peet's, near Cafe Ladro at Dayton St too...plenty of good java, food, and all kinds of beverages nearby!

Dang, I passed right by. I must have been so excited to find a Peets I missed the bikes.
