    Smile My first night ride

I haven't been on my bike since the endo on Halloween. Lately I've been talking to DH about riding my bike at night to see the Christmas decorations. Well yesterday he surprised me with a NiteRider MiNute light. He mounted it on my mtb and together we took a little cruise in the neighborhood. I was just thrilled with not only the light, but getting back on the bike. It was so peaceful and with the full moon it was magical. I kept hearing Music of the Night play in my mind as I rode. I can't wait to ride again.

Night riding is great - esp when there aren't too many cars. Isn't getting back on the bike after a forced rest just the most awesome feeling?

Yipee, so glad to see that you were back on your bike, in the dark none the less! It was a beautiful night for it last night.

Thanks everyone. I do have a blinking tail light and a high vis reflective vest so I think I've just about got it covered. It was so very peaceful. I can understand why so many ride at night.
