ummm. no. the Legnano is DH's.

I keep telling myself...We don't take vacations, we seldom eat out, we are not a member of a gym, no kid at home, it's OUR HOBBY....etc.

Some people collect and work on vintage cars.

Riding and tinkering with vintage bikes is easier on your wallet than that, is actually good for the planet, and is good for your health (both mental and physical). You will eventually be inspiring other people around you to ride bikes. And if both you and DH like being involved in it together, then it's good for your marriage too!
I see only good things here.

You just HAVE to post the Legnano by itself. It's a beauty!

And just what do you mean "Claudia made me do it?" Hey, I sent you waaay more pics of auctions than that. If you had listened to me, you would have had 12 mixtes and each with an Acorn bag, along with half a dozen items from Terry.

    Hey Sandra,

Wow! That's a veritable fleet of mixtes! Are you going to keep them all or just fix them up? Are you going to add on to your garage?

They are really lovely little bikes.

The original plan after I got Blossom and fell in love was to get one more mixte for DH to ride. After he had his shoulder dislocation accident, we thought neighborhood bikes with fatter tires would be a good way for him to ease back in to riding. So, I was looking for a bike for him when along came Nancy's Raleigh, Toto. It was a weee bit small, but I added a longer seatpost and it is perfect, in mint condition and rides fantastic.

I had been talking with a guy that had this Legnano NOS frame that had never been built up. I loved the different curve of the twin tube tops. He said he would build it up and if I was interested I could have it. I really didn't know if it would work out and we were happily riding our other two.

He finished the bike and it was a beauty, so I took it. Now we have one extra, but like children, we love them all.

Blossom was the only fixer upper. The Legnano was built from scratch, nothing pressing on it. The Raleigh could use some new fresh bar tape and I added the rack. They are all pretty much good to go.
