Gore Sizing - Size Chart Confusion

    To disable ads, please log-in.

Does anyone know how Gore jackets run in size? The size charts on Team Estrogen list a small as 33 - 35 1/2 inches and a medium as 36-38 inches (chest size). But the size charts on Terry list a small as 33.1 inches and a medium as 34.6 inches. I'm really confused!

I'd say they run small. Very small. I just ordered a thermal jacket in XL, which according to the size chart should be big on me, and I can't even begin to get it closed. It's headed back to TE this weekend, dangit.

I have no idea how the jackets run, but for me at least the jerseys seem true to size...

I think it's a "bra band size" (converted from metric, hence the weird decimals) vs. a "chest circumference" distinction. Our measurements are chest circumference measurements. We find that chest circumference works better because no matter what bra size you are or think you are, a simple tape-measure measurement should get you into the right garment size.

    Hope that helps!

Thanks, all! The sizing bit has to be hardest part of mail order / on-line shopping.
