    Hey all

I am hopefully going to FINALLY get fit on the Cannondale synapse 1 ( not the carbon) this sat and wondered what others thought of it...my other option I am loving (not the color though) is the 07 dolce elite...it is a sweet ride..although I have not rode a Cannondale and this one has better components than the elite..so with that said what are you guy's advice on this one?? thanks for all your help so far!!

    Hey, Angel!

I'll be at a shop tomorrow where I can try a different Canondale in the right size to see if I like it, and they'll bring in a Synapse II Carbon for me and upgrade the components for a good price....we'll be checking if we can't get the I.

Hopefully, one of the TE sisters has some experience with this bike and can give us some tips and opinions.

    Happy shopping!

I have the '07 Synapse feminin carbon 3. I really like it - although I'm not sure how much my opinion counts, since it's only the second carbon frame I've ever ridden. (Like you, my other choice was the Specialized Ruby Comp.)

It does seem like the 105 chainrings are wearing way too fast - not that I've been the smoothest shifter this year, but geez, there's not even 1500 miles on them.

I'm just a B-level club rider and this bike is great for me. The only thing I've changed out was the saddle, and swapping the cranks for a shorter set.
