    Baby almost here!!

As most of you know, we lost our sweet Agnes to cancer in May. She was my big, long-legged golden retriever---Santa brought her to me in Christmas '98 and she was "my" special girl. While Agnes was one-of-a-kind and never can/should be replaced, we and our other two goldens need a third canine to make the family complete.

Enter, Fiona (aka Stormy Point's Surfer Girl)! The pup-ster is coming home next Saturday, and all are excited!! The ladies at work had a puppy shower for me on Monday, and now Fiona has treats, many toys, and a "puppy's first year" scrapbook. I can't wait to smooch the butterball. Her sisters, particularly Maeve, my 7.5 year old "puppy," are looking forward to indulging in puppy antics and showing their baby sister the ropes.

Please check the link---scroll down---to see pictures from the breeder's website. We are second pick for the females.

Oh, they are BEAUTIFUL pups!!! Why can't we freeze them at that stage and cuddle them like that forever (although my grown up golden is a cutie, too- they're just so darn cute as puppies)?
    I can't wait until she's yours. Yippeee!!!!

OMG, I'm about to die from a cute attack!

I LOVE that picture of Storm, too. What grand pose.

There is nothing on the planet as cute as a Golden Retriever puppy! Don't tell my doggie, though (and I am partial to her, and maybe all the other puppies I've had). But really, Goldens are just sooo adorable!

    Congratulations!
