    Saddle sores

I'm sure this has been covered but I'm too lazy (and busy) to dig through old threads for the answer.

After getting my handlebars & my seat into perfect alignment, both came loose and had to be tightened. Therefore I'm in another round of constantly adjusting (and tightening) them! I think I've finally gotten them aligned but not before I got saddle sores. I'm not talking about the girly-bits discomfort, this is a rash right on the sit bones, or actually just below, where the fat on my butt contacts the seat.

So--diaper rash ointment? What do you suggest?

Bag Balm worked for me. Good luck - I still don't have my bike redialed in. I think this time I will either write it down or mark the position on my bike!

Back when I was riding on a saddle that was too "pear" shaped for my hip joints I was getting fabulous irritation right at what would be my lower panty-line. (in the crease at the bottom of my bottom, as it were) I found Burt's Bees Hand Salve to be very soothing.

    and it smells nice
