Thanks Veronica! I checked out the site ref. Sounds very, uh, interesting

Is there an actual route map available? Didn't see one on the site. Anybody got an old one that's cyber worthy?

I have one on a bandana. I'll see if it will feed into my laptop.

Question Calling all bike route history buffs!

    Thanks Veronica!

    I'm kinda collecting routes... speaking of which;

Calling all bike history buffs (including DH, SO, friends, LBS buddies) -

I'm looking for the route map for the old (1980's) Coors Classic in Colorado, featured in the film American Flyers. I'm done exhaustive googling... even sent an email to Coors (not that I expect to hear from them).

Anyway, if anyone has one, knows where I can acquire one, whatever, PM me with the info (unless anybody else is interested).

This would be pretty interesting to see. You might try posting on cyclingforums or bikejournal. Cool project.

What about the old Ore Ida/HP women's stage race?

OK... I'm game. If you have it, email it over.

Hmmm... I see a new page on my site being born.

    Lets ride!

MM is now on board! I didn't read the thing properly when I registered club but I'm now with the TE'ers. I've logged all my milage for this year which is a looking a bit lame this year, but as I had a bad back since Dec I haven't done as much as I would have liked. Thing are looking up though.

Back now seems to be 95% better and now you kind ladies have led me to BJ (and the weather's cheering up ) motivation levels are soaring! This is great - I've always been a bit of a statto anyway. I've got a notebook with pretty much every ride in it I've ever done, with the same info I enter for BJ , so updating the website will be a breeze.

Lets get those miles in. What a top notch motivator..!!!

    Joining Bike Journal

MM- Congrats on getting on the TEAM! MORE, MORE, MORE! We're awesome!

Now, Nuthatch- I think you should do some stats-

How many on the team, age range, geographical locations, av miles, whatever else you can think of!

Those of us doing the AIDS ride will rack up 600+ miles in ONE WEEK! Hey not too shabby!

Eeek! Me? Stats? Isn't that MM's forte? Hmmm - I guess I could put it in the club news section, couldn't I?

Actually you weigh the poundage of the dog-doo and plug it into a formula that calculates the amount of omni-points it represents. These omni-points can be redeemed for any pleasant thing of your choice: bike miles, chocolate covered coffee beans, new bike toys, etc. I've got two poopers who create an incredible amount of doo for their size and the picking up usually falls to my daughter who redeems her points for music CDs!

Well, for some reason the enhanced stats section, which allows you to see total distance broken down by age group and team, won't show me any of the 40-49 y/old catagory (which is a bunch of us). Maybe it's for the best because bikegoddess is spanking all of us and she's in one of the more mature catagories! Go, BG, go!!!!!!

Aww, Spazzdog, you put your picture up on your profile! It's so nice to see what folks look like - makes it seem more home-like around here! Thanks!

Out of... 15? I only input my mileage every few weeks, and will do an update tomorrow when I'm on my other PC. I find BJ navigation very confusing ... where are these stats located?

But for some reason, it won't let me view this category with our club as one of the parameters - only for all the 40-49 group registered on the site (who give their birth year).

Finally found the enhanced stats... and Nancy is #2 among "women of a certain age"!!!! Go Nancy! Only 500 more miles to beat that pretender from AZ.
