The Metric sounds cool. I love doing new rides in new places (especially when they're groups on marked routes with support!). And...I'd be doing it on my new ID8!!! Ooooo... Fun. Not sure what September will bring...but it might be do-able.

Regina--if you decide to do the metric, I might switch and ride it, too. But you're pretty fast, aren't you? I'd better ramp up my training a few notches (maybe I'll ride my Alaris and we can represent the Seven Team?).

    Oh, yeah! Sounds great!

I ride fast when I'm with fast riders.
I ride mellow when I'm with mellow riders.
Fast. Slow. Road. Mountain. It's all good.

C'mon, you can keep me company on the Power Push. You have more power so you have to push me.

Where'd you get the idea that I have more power?? Regina might tell you otherwise

If I do register, it will be for the "Power Push". I think I saw that Janice registered for that, as well. Having you guys to ride with would definitely make it more fun, but I dunno about getting all the way up to Oregon Ridge that early in the a.m. My plan last year was to just attend the expo, but I didn't even get there in time for that (got sidetracked further up in Hereford Cnty on the NCRT. Loooove that trail).

    Hi Kalidurga,

You can definitely register day of - A couple of considerations: it's $30 instead of $22 day and you would have to buy a t-shirt instead of get one free if there are any left.

The women on this ride are very supportive of each other. We also have ride leaders going out with every group - not that you have to ride with them! Additionally, we have women of ALL ability levels doing all the rides - except the Metric - we even have had some who made She Got Bike their first ride, period. They were amazing. For what it's worth, everyone tends to spread out so it could feel similiar to the group ride you already do.

It helps us to know how many women to expect ahead of time and that's the reason we do the pre-reg and then up the fee day of - a little extra encouragement

BUT please don't hesitate to come day of if you can't register in advance - I'm so excited to be able to meet you guys in person - we have to come up with a way to know who is from the Team Estrogen mid-atlantic group!

    Whip
