Darn it, I'll be in Nebraska this weekend so I can't go. I could walk, ride, or take a bus to this. Maybe next year...

Well, I have to add a phooey to this post, too as I'm not sure when I'll be home from Florida. If I end up working this Saturday to make up for time off, Sunday will be my only day to ride and Silver Spring just isn't close enough to my usual routes.

I hadn't heard about this race, though, so thanks for posting about it, Velobambina! I'll have to bookmark it for next year. If you go, definitely give us a report.

LOL---Listen to you three, traveling all around! My DH is going on a TDY to Florida on Saturday, so everyone must be bugging out of DC.

Unfortunately, mine's not a vacation. I'd much rather be in DC right now. I'm beginning to really miss my bike

Possibly dumb question: What's a TDY?

I had no idea they do something like this in SS. Unfortunately, I will also be out of town, at my first triathlon.
I'd rather be swimming...biking...running...and eating cheesecake...

TDY=USG all expenses paid trip to some location where you stay in a crappy hotel, work 12 hour days, find places to eat "within per diem" and become exhausted. LOL.

At Wendy's! I've always gone for the chili and a frosty as a TDY dinner or lunch.
