    Amphipods

Does anyone use these? I was wondering if anyone has used these and if they are worth getting. I hear good things about them and I am looking for an easy-hold water bottle.

Also, what kind of water bottle belts do you use, if you do. Amphipods also makes belts.

    I enjoy it all.

I use an Ultimate Direction water belt. It has two 10 oz bottles, a 4 oz gel flask and a small pocket for keys and such. I love it, I don't notice the weight at all, it has a wide stretchy band that doesn't move. I used to have a hand held water bottle, but I always ended up ditching it halfway through my run. I have a Camelback, but I have to load up on the bodyglide or I get chafe marks anywhere it touches skin.

I use this one. The bottle it comes with is cr@p, but a standard 21 oz bottle works well. The pocket is big enough for ID, keys, and a cell phone.
I'd rather be swimming...biking...running...and eating cheesecake...

I use something similar for running. It looks similar. I love it. I run up to 8 miles with it. Mine has a slightly larger pocket. Big enough for a key, and a gel.

I went for the hand held because I can't stand things around my waist. It should be here in a few days.

I have the 4 bottle belt with the 8.5 oz bottles. I love it. The belt is a stretchy 2" wide belt that closes with velcro. I've used it on runs up to 10 miles. Since the belt is stretchy, it doesn't bounce around. The wider belt doesn't cut into you like a narrower one might. The bottles are easy to get in and out. I've found the bottles pretty easy to use. The tops close off realiably so you don't end up splashing yourself as you run. I'm going to use my belt on my next tri. I need a lot of fluids and I've never mastered running and drinking from those little cups they hand out.

    yes

    Meg,
I used it in a race last weekend, and it worked great. It was easy to hold on to, and I am pretty small. I would recommend it. There are two sizes, I got the smaller on, 20 oz, I think.
