and another job!

I was just hired to create a factsheet about the harm pesticides pose to humans. These will be distributed to the community and people who are at risk for exposure as well as the Minnesota legislative body for their upcoming session. This is the sort of job I was looking for: a little bit of science, some coummunity involvement, and a whole lot of socially conscious work.

Whoosh I am racking them up after a month of unemployment (it doesn't sound so long when I type it!) I am so excited to begin work at both places. With the little interactions I have had with the people so far I think they can offer a lot of fun and encouragement for my future.

ps. Thank you for all of your kind words following my last job. I plan to keep them both since they are part time and will fullfill different needs: coffee/ decent wage/ benefits/ sleeping well at night because I know I did work with direct meaningful action.
