I didn't set a goal other than to do more climbing. I'm already up to 13000+ so I'm happy. I didnt' know I did so much cllimbing before I got the gps. The sunday ride last week really added on the feet though. My legs were sore for days.

Hi all...got in 3445 on Saturday...I think I'm up in the 12,000s now, and my May goal was 13,000, so I'm pleased.
How's everyone?

Tired. I think I probably didn't eat enough in my double century yesterday. Oh well.
I'm at 28,325 for the month and 135,508 for the year. Pretty good. I think I need to do more speed work, though. Especially if I have any hope of riding with my husband and having fun. (I'm definitely climbing better than in past doubles we've done together - but my top end is just a little more sluggish than it was before. Oh well.)

So how is everyone doing?
I accomplished my big goal - Central Coast Double. I'll probably finish up with 35,000+ feet for the month.

As of today, I think I am at about 12,500. My goal was 13,000, so with five days to go and barring unforeseen yuckiness of any kind, I will make my goal. In fact, I might end up more in the 15,000 range.![]()

Like you, Veronica, I did mine! It was a pretty minor one compared to things I see here -- just to get all the way to the top of "my" hill in one shot.
Good thing about it -- I'm doing better on ALL the hills I climb now that I've figured out how to climb "my" hill!
And I'm starting to wonder just how many feet I am logging -- I don't have a computer that can tell me that yet!

I think my goal was 25,000. I should be around 30,000, depending on what I end up doing tomorrow. I think my real goal was "less than April", which was a crazy month. So I achieved that.

Okey dokey - looks like I will be at 33,650 for the month as I don't expect to do much more outside riding this week.
Lovely!

Hi Everyone,
This is the first time I have set climing goals so I had a lot to learn. I had set out to make two climbs up the face of Buckskin and ride Garden Creek Loop. Well so far I did ride Buckskin (back side, longer ride) once and have not ridden Garden Creek. But I am learning how to use my garmin and have climbed 21, 000 feet so far. I hope to ride Garden Creek this week. It a beast!!!
I really had a great week of riding. I rode 138 miles this week but more flat than hills. Wed I rode 50, Saturday I rode 65 miles and a few other short rides. Hopefully June will have more climbing!!

21,00 just for the month? That's great. SE Idaho doesn't have gigantic long climbs, so you must have been really focused.
This entire week was spent completely on the flat but I still managed managed 15,121 for the month which is 10% over my goal.

SK you're going to need to add another moon to your goal - or at last a large asteroid...

Um, why? I still have almost 80,000 to meet my annual goal. Even at 15,000' a month, that's not easy around these laser-leveled fields.

You're just doing really well. I am sure you can fit in some spatial errata like an asteroid. But I know towards the end of the year sometimes it gets harder to fit in long rides or travel.
