HELP, they don't make my favorite gloves anymore

    To disable ads, please log-in.

I have a pair of Pearl Izumi gel-light gloves. They are so very different from the new models. They fit my hands nicely, have straps that velcro on the wrist
and a nice leather-ish padded palm. I already have repaired them (I darned them last fall) and my fingers have burst through them again. One might say they weren't built to last, but while they lasted, I loved them (3 seasons).

They're a full fingered but not heavy glove. Anyone know of a glove they'd recommend for chilly mornings spring/summer? (not the polar types)

    thanks

    Are these the ones?

These are the 2006 model, on closeout at the REI outlet website. I got them a month or two ago when they had the women's sizes left (looks like those are gone), but not knowing your hand size, maybe the small men's would work for you?

Mimi, call one of the PI outlet stores. They can tell exactly what model year they have in stock and they can do a computer search of the other PI outlet stores for the gloves.

they've already responded to me. None of those gloves are left.

My question is; who has long fingered gloves that they like? what are they?

I have a pair of Louis Garneau ones that I like for cooler weather. They are really only for cool and not cold weather and pretty useless in the rain though. The palms are minimally padded, which I like and they have a nice vent on the palm, which I like too.

btw - these are often on sale at Performance
