I know a lot of us here have had our fur kids go to heaven in the last few months. It's very sad, but in a way I'm relieved. It has been very stressful the last few months because I knew in my heart she wasn't well, but I didn't want to give up on her either.
We have had a great family weekend in so cal. I'll write more later about the debacle that was Wildflower. Lets just say that after 25 years you would think they would have the race organization down??!!
But we stayed in Santa Barbara lastnight, and we ran as a family this morning along the shore. I was raised on the beaches of nor cal, so I LOVE the beach. It's very soothing for my soul. Glad we decided to stay here. Unfortunately the road awaits, so I'd best get going.

    Oh sunshine!!

I'm so sorry! I love Westies they are just so cute. Maybe Abby was still at the gate so she could give mr/ms. Westie a ride on her back over the bridge...

I remember when you became worried about Abby. I'm sorry to hear it. Glad you got to love her, though.

So hard to put into words when we lose our pets/babies. It's always traumatic. My heartfelt sympathy to both running mommie and to sunshine.

    sincerely,

((((Running Mommy)))) I am so sorry to hear about Abby. I went through that 3 years ago with our 14.5 yo black cat Smokey had to be put down. We thought we were going to lose him several months previously, then he got better. When he got sick again, I knew the end was near, my heart goes out to you. It's going to be tough for some time, but as others have said, I'm sure the TE furbabies are showing Abby around at the Rainbow Bridge.
Don't think of it as getting hot flashes. Think of it as your inner child playing with matches
